Here’s How it Works

  • Cast your vote before February 15th, 2025 for the school you care most about in the Houston Independent School District.

  • The top school in each award category will each receive $1000 to use toward a special project or support initiative.

  • You can vote today and help make a difference for the teachers and students you care about.

THREE WAYs FOR YOUR SCHOOL TO WIN $1,000

We will award three schools based on distinct categories to ensure fair access to this opportunity:

Most Votes Overall – Awarded to the school with the highest number of individual voters.

Most Votes per Enrolled Student – Awarded to the school with the highest number of votes relative to its student enrollment, allowing smaller schools or communities to compete on equal footing.

LOVE Your School Award – Awarded to the school with the most descriptive and positive responses in the comments section.

Why this matters

Families are the heartbeat of every school community. Whether it’s funding for a new library project, supplies for the art program, or extra support for after-school tutoring, the $1000 prize will go toward something meaningful that benefits students directly. Your vote matters—join us in supporting the schools that matter to your family!
